Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parents!  It's already time for Parent-Teacher Conferences!  A flyer will be sent home on November 1, 2013.  Please make sure to check your child's folder.  Please make sure that you fill it out and send it back to school on November 4, 2013.  Thank you!

California Curriculum Frameworks and Content Standards

The following link will show what the California Curriculum Frameworks are about.  The California Curriculum Frameworks are the basis for providing guidance for implementing the standards adopted by the State Board of Education. 

1.  The link to the California State Board of Education Homepage:  http://www.cde.ca.gov  After you click on this link, you will need to click on the tab labeled Standards and frameworks.  After that, click on the link labeled Curriculum Frameworks.  After that you will be on the frameworks page.  If you have any questions, please let us know.

The following link will show what the California Content Standards are about.  Content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level.

The following link will show what the Common Core Standards are about.  Educational standards describe what students should know and be able to do in each subject in each grade. In California, the State Board of Education decides on the standards for all students, from kindergarten through high school.
